Long before Aquastonia existed, our family of six—my wife, our four children, and I—spent countless vacations by lakes and seaside resorts, just like many families do. Despite all the planning, deals, and discounts, those trips often cost us between $4,000 and $8,000 each. And no matter how prepared we were, we faced the usual “small” surprises: delayed flights, overcrowded and over-chlorinated pools, unexpected illnesses, and unpredictable weather that put a damper on our plans.
When we finally settled into our current home, we found an unexpected treasure—a small decorative pond nestled in our backyard. We quickly realized that this pond became the heart of our home life: family games, gatherings, and quiet moments all revolved around it. Inspired by nature’s calming effect, we decided to transform that small pond into a beautiful, natural waterscape. We expanded its size, added fish and aquatic plants, and enhanced the surrounding landscape to create a serene retreat.
Today, years later, our backyard pond remains the place where we relax with morning coffee, entertain friends, watch our children delight in the wildlife, and enjoy romantic evenings under the stars. We’ve learned that nature heals, and true relaxation doesn’t require a costly getaway—it’s right outside your door.
